Head of Production
As head of production, you handle company-wide supply chain infrastructure, quality control and production, ensuring product supply is responsive and in line with demand from all the sales channels.
You’re also a people manager, looking after the wellbeing, performance and training of senior goldsmiths and the production team, as well as managing and liaising with suppliers across the chain.
The role has a heavy focus on project management, so you are incredibly organised, flexible and responsive, so you can maintain strong oversight of production, budget management, finances and reporting.
As well as production, you have a solid understanding of the other business functions, so you can forge good working relations with other senior stakeholders.

Qualification Requirements
Experience
You learnt your craft in a workshop where you forged an of understanding production and manufacturing processes and techniques, innovation and efficiency improvements.
You worked your way up from bench to team leader and have dealt with suppliers and supply chain management.
Knowledge
With strong experience in quality control, you know how to overcome QC issues.
You’re a problem solver on and off the bench, resolving technical making issues as well as production supply chain challenges.
You know the product is only as good as the team, so you are an excellent team leader who knows how to get the best of the people.

Qualification Requirements
You have a technical background, either with an apprenticeship or technical training foundation (e.g., HND, Design for Industry or degree level).
You have 10 to 15 years of production and management experience.
