As course director of a higher-education jewellery programme, you oversee delivery of content and monitor student progress as well as teach

further education students or adult learners. You have a well-rounded expertise in jewellery making, materials, manufacture and design and can confidently present metal jewellery making techniques:

Clean up castings
Solder
Polish to a very high standard
Wax carving techniques
Size and resize rings
Gemstones and setting styles

You use learning objectives to impart your knowledge to students learning to make basic jewellery or couples wanting to make their own wedding rings.

You are energetic, flexible and comfortable working closely with others in a small team as well as hosting and giving excellent service to customers in a workshop.

Experience

3-5 years jewellery experience.

Knowledge
How to prep and set up a class space
Demonstrating practical techniques
