Trainee Sales Associate
As a sales advisor, you make sales to meet weekly, monthly and annual targets, and, as a junior member of staff, you might also provide service under direction.
You meet and greet customers and answer questions about products before introducing the customer to a senior member of staff for prices and negotiation. From there, you learn to provide exceptional customer service as you build your knowledge about each product.
You need to be computer literate to deal with administrative tasks or customer relationship management (CRM) system data input. As well as spending a lot of time standing and walking the shop floor, your retail sales role may involve visual merchandising, taking payment and cashing up.
You might also make appointments, provide tea, coffee and refreshments and liaise with the in-house workshop.

Qualification Requirements
Experience
This might be your first retail job, but you may have completed a retail apprenticeship or have retail experience in another sector and moved across to watches and jewellery.
Knowledge
You might have experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, point of sale (POS) systems and transaction tracking software.
You know how to make cash and card transactions at the till.
