Casting Manager
As a casting specialist, you are part of an age-old jewellery manufacturing process that has evolved to adopt innovative equipment and technology.
You understand the traditional processes of lost wax casting, centrifugal casting, vacuum casting, investment casting, die casting and evaporative casting as well as vulcanising processes to create moulds from metal masters, resin, wax and physical objects.
You are also comfortable with 3D printing and rapid prototyping for reproducing a master pattern for batch or mass production.
Your duties might include:
• Sawing off metal castings
• Buffing metal castings
• Laser welding and repairing castings
• Wax sizing
• Treeing-up models for casting
• Quality control
You need basic bench skills, such as sawing and filing. You also need to:

2 years casting experience.
