As an operations manager of a jewellery business – whether mass produced or high fine jewellery – your role is far reaching. You oversee all operation systems, companywide. In all physical spaces, supply chain and with manufacturing equipment, you optimise workflows and ensure the company complies with the laws, regulations and ethical standards of the jewellery industry.

This is a hands-on role, requiring you to work closely with the manufacturing staff so the workshop runs smoothly.

You lead, train, mentor and develop all operations staff, providing expertise while creating a culture of excellence, attention to detail and pride in the company’s output to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualification Requirements

You have a technical background, usually a mounting apprenticeship, technical training foundation or HND.

You have worked up through the workshop environment and have management experience.
